Acceptable Use Policy

This policy provides public guidance for responsible and secure use of Clover Technologies managed services and support resources.

Purpose

This Acceptable Use Policy outlines expectations for customers, users, and authorized contacts who use Clover Technologies managed IT services, support resources, systems, networks, tools, or related technology environments.

Responsible Use

Use services, systems, and support resources only for lawful business purposes.

Follow applicable laws, regulations, contracts, licensing terms, and organizational policies.

Use reasonable care to protect credentials, devices, accounts, data, and assigned access.

Promptly report suspected compromise, unauthorized access, malware, phishing, lost devices, or other security concerns.

Prohibited Activity

Unauthorized access, scanning, disruption, abuse, or attempts to bypass security controls.

Sending spam, phishing, malicious files, unlawful content, or deceptive communications.

Using services to host, distribute, or enable malware, credential theft, pirated software, or illegal material.

Sharing accounts, passwords, MFA tokens, or privileged access without written authorization.

Interfering with Clover Technologies systems, monitoring tools, service platforms, or other customers.

Security Controls

Clover Technologies may recommend or require security controls such as multi-factor authentication, endpoint protection, patch management, secure backup practices, email protection, access controls, or logging based on service scope, risk, and customer environment.

Customer Responsibilities

Maintain accurate authorized contact information for support and escalation.

Notify Clover Technologies of employee changes, role changes, access changes, or business changes that affect technology access.

Review service recommendations and approve reasonable security improvements in a timely manner.

Maintain appropriate internal policies for employees, contractors, vendors, and other users.

Enforcement

If activity creates security, legal, operational, or service risk, Clover Technologies may take reasonable steps to protect systems and customers. This may include investigation, temporary suspension, access restriction, remediation support, or escalation under the applicable agreement.

Updates

Clover Technologies may update this policy as technology, services, threats, and operational requirements change. Material service obligations remain governed by written agreements or statements of work.
